SendOWO ("we", "our", "us") is a product of Bizshift Solutions Limited. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our WhatsApp-based financial assistant service.

1. Information We Collect

When you use SendOWO, we collect:

• Account Information: Your full name, phone number (WhatsApp), and email address.
• Financial Data: Transaction history, wallet balance, virtual account details, and beneficiary information.
• Usage Data: Conversation history with our AI assistant (for context and service improvement), device type, and interaction timestamps.
• Voice & Media: Voice notes (transcribed for processing) and images shared for transaction purposes (e.g., photos of account details).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your SendOWO account and virtual bank account.
• Process financial transactions (transfers, airtime, bills, savings).
• Provide AI-powered conversational support and understand your requests.
• Send transaction receipts, alerts, and account notifications via WhatsApp.
• Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and suspicious activity.
• Comply with regulatory obligations (KYC/AML requirements).
• Improve our service quality and develop new features.

3. Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

• Encryption at rest: All personal and financial data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
• Encryption in transit: All communications use TLS/SSL. WhatsApp messages are protected by end-to-end encryption.
• PIN Protection: Your transaction PIN is securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Access Control: Only authorized personnel can access user data, and all access is logged.
• Infrastructure: Our systems are hosted on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted partners to provide our service:

• Nomba MFB: virtual accounts, and transaction processing.
• Nomba MFB: Payment processing (CBN-licensed).
• Nomba MFB: Airtime, data, and bill payment fulfillment.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business API): Message delivery platform.

These partners only receive the minimum data required to process your transactions. They are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

5. Data Retention

• Transaction records: Retained for a minimum of 6 years as required by Nigerian financial regulations.
• Conversation history: Retained for up to 90 days for service context, then archived.
• Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. Upon deletion request, data is removed within 30 days (except where retention is legally required).

6. Your Rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Restriction: Request we limit processing of your data.

Our landing page does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We do not track your browsing behavior across other websites.
